Vocalist, songwriter and label owner José James combines jazz, R&B, soul, pop and funk in his music. As a solo artist he has released 9 albums over the last decade for Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings, Verve, Blue Note Records and his own Rainbow Blonde Records. His latest album “No Beginning No End 2” features collaborations with a who’s who of artists from the jazz and R&B world including Aloe Blacc, Lizz Wright, Ledisi, Pino Palladino, Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Kris Bowers and Laura Mvula.

Taali

Singer, songwriter, producer and record label owner Taali is a teller and lover of stories. Her music, described as “a beguiling mix of layered vocals, chamber pop, avant-electronica, and quiet storm,” addresses identity, love, and overcoming trauma. After a decade of writing for other artists, she released her debut album “I Am Here” on her own Rainbow Blonde Records, earning critical acclaim and touring worldwide. She quickly followed up with acoustic EP “Were Most Of Your Stars Out?” and its companion EP, “Were You Busy Writing Your Heart Out?” Taali’s music weaves a landscape drawing from the empowering Judaic culture of her family and the uplifting stories of the fierce women she surrounds herself with.
